Art the DJ Occasions NewsThe weekend after next we are scheduled for a 16th birthday party. This is going to be a wild one! I worked closely with his mother to build a lighting and sound package that is sure to have all of his friends talking for a long time to come. In fact, the worD has gotten out and according to his mom, let's just say that the size of the party has grown.
In addition to them being able to pick all of their own music on our web site, we are going to try and work in some games that are fun and cool, without being corny. We have added to what we normally would bring, two JBL 18" sub-woofers and an additional amplifier because they want hip-hop all night long. For lighting we are bringing two of our 3D-lasers, two of our geometric-pattern laser, four high-powered strobes and two fog machines. He will be able to treat all of his friends to their very own night club in his backyard.
What great parents he has to give him such a wonderful night to remember.

Art, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! You were the icing on the cake at my parents, Gary & Cathy Olney, 50th Wedding Anniversary. Never having put on a 50th Anniversary Party, I was so happy to have you at the celebration as an expert among the amateurs (that would be us!). Art, Thank you for making my surprise 50th birthday party such a success---and so memorable. Everyone is still talking about it. Art, Our daughter Brianna turned 17 and since we hadn’t held a party for her in several years, we thought we’d have a party with her inviting friends and a DJ. Little did we know that our little Brianna’s 17th birthday “soirée” would turn into the party of the year and the talk of the school!! Word travels fast with today’s technology of text messaging and it spread so fast that Bree’s party was “going-off” like a night club with a DJ. Your entire setup – song selection program, amazing lighting and your involvement of playing to the kids favorite songs showed us you really listened to your customer. Art, First, let me thank you again for saving my skin at our Holiday Party on December 7th. I don't know what happened to our string quartet, but they never showed and we never heard a peep from them. If you had not shown up early to set up (as a professional always would...) we would have had no entertainment at all for several hours. I can't begin to tell you how much positive feedback everyone has given and how they especially enjoyed the way you handled the entertainment. No one even missed the string quartet! I met Art less than 24 hours before my Gala for 400 people. Within a thirty minute time frame, Art took a few notes and “got it”, leaving me not a worry in the world. The Gala evening was stellar, in large part because of Art’s excellence. There were many “moving parts” of our program, but Art was always on cue and the evening went off without a glitch. Like many others, you don’t realize the importance of a DJ until you hire and rely on one. I was happy to have the musical aspect of my event in the very capable hands of Art.
