Imagine this, both of you have just arrived from having a very romantic photo session after your ceremony and are ready to party.
We have lined up all of your bridesmaids and groomsmen. We give the two of you just a few moments to make sure everything is in place and the next thing you hear is Art inside the reception asking all of your guests if they are ready to have the time of their lives as they celebrate with you and your new husband till the end of the night.
Little do your bridesmaids and groomsmen know that you have worked with Art to announce their entrance with some, fun, harmless and entertaining moments about each of them. And little do you know that your bridesmaids and groomsmen have worked cute little dance steps as they are introduced. And if that wasn't enough, your parent's staged rose pedals for all the guests to shower you with as you and your new husband enter the room.
Your reception is off to a great startand Art is on top of making sure all your requests come true. As both of you approach the center of the dance floor the room lights start to dim. Your song for the first dance starts to fade up through the clapping, hearts slowly appear on your dance floor along with tinny little white swirling lights as you hear the sighs from all of your girl friends. Little do they know that half way through this classic waltz the song is going to transisition into "Don't stop 'till you get enough" by Michael Jackson and all the carefully rehearesed moves the two of you have planned. Both of you are the centerpiece and Art is working all of his magic behind the scenes.
This is what I think makes a fantastic reception:
I work very hard at being the best Orange County wedding DJ possible. Providing your wedding reception with your favorite music. You can select all of your own music and I work use my years of experience to build a playlist that will keep your friends on the dance floor until we turn the lights off.  Hello Art! Thank you so much for doing such a wonderful job at our wedding reception! My husband and I had a blast and so did our guests! Our feet hurt for two days after the wedding because we couldn't stay off the dance floor! You and Isabel did such a great job accommodating the songs we wanted played along with requests from our guests. Thank you for working so closely with Ryan and me to chose the perfect songs that made our reception absolutely perfect and a day that we will truly remember forever! 1. Never underestimate the importance of the DJ at your wedding reception. All a DJ really does is push a few buttons and play some songs, right? Wrong! A good DJ knows what music is needed and when, he knows what’s appropriate and what isn’t, he keeps the evening flowing smoothly, and he’s professional enough to know that his role is to be the unsung hero as he makes the bride and groom look good in front of their guests.
2. Art Zippel is the only DJ you will ever need to interview. After our first meeting with Art, Monette and I both felt so comfortable with Art that he became the first and last DJ we interviewed for our wedding. Art is all the things I mentioned in item #1 and then some. He and Isabel make a great team, and they were an absolute joy to work with.
